About the CD

The “EXPRESS” CD was released in May 1997 with the guest musicians Alexandre Blanc on guitars, Mauro Hector with a guitar solo on the track “Attitude,” Pablo Silva on drums, and Daniel Teles on keyboard on the track “What’s musicality?”

The album also had as guest musicians Eduardo Ardanuy (Dr. Sin), Kiko Loureiro (Angra), Frank Solari, and Mello Jr. Zuzo recorded bass and keyboards and composed all of the songs, two of which were co-written with Alexandre Blanc.

The CD also features guest performances by Mauricio Fernandez on alto saxophone and José Cintra on the berimbau. Photos by Sibely Faria.

The period between recording and final mastering occurred between September 1996 and March 1997. It took a total of 140 hours of recording, mixing, and mastering.

This is an instrumental, rock, guitar-oriented album. The bass lines of the entire CD were recorded using only a double neck bass, and there was no type of overdubbing or double bass effects or pitch shifters.
