About the CD

This album was recorded half in Brazil, and half in the USA. It was released in 2011, and has Zuzo on bass and vocals, and Fernando Baggio on drums.

The CD has twelve songs with only one bass, drums, and Zuzo’s vocals. Nine songs are in English and three are in Portuguese.

All songs were written by Zuzo, including the lyrics to ten songs. The lyrics to “Beleza Comprada” and “Altos e Baixos” were written by Dani Maia.

The CD concept is the adaptation of instrumental songs to vocal ones, and the mix of Brazilian rhythms with rock without the use of guitars.

There is also the challenge of singing complex melodies while playing tappings and chord melodies at the same time.
